Do I need to provide any additional verification when booking a luxury vehicle?

If you are booking a luxury vehicle you may have to provide a driving abstract from ICBC before you come to pick up the vehicle.

What is the deposit for Luxury Cars, SUV’s and Exotic Cars?

The deposit for Luxury Cars, SUV’s and Exotic Cars can start from 1500 CAD and range to 25000 CAD

How far in advance can I book the Lamborghini Urus, Urus Performante, Huracan Performante or Huracan STO?

To rent any of the Lamborghinis you will have to book 7 days in advance. If you want it sooner please contact us on 778 385 5551.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you wish to cancel before your rental pick-up time, you must email us your reservation and request the cancellation at least 72 hours prior to your pick-up. Any cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances occurring from our end will take place a month in advance, and you will be notified via email, at least 30 days in advance.

Is insurance included if you have an Non North American drivers License in our long term lease program?

No, insurance is not included if you have a non-North American license.

Can i rent a car with class 7N /GDL /G2/ any other probationary licenses?

Yes, you can rent a car with class 7N /GDL /G2/ any other probationary licenses, there will be a surcharge of $20/day and minimum deposit of $2500 is required. For more information please contact our local office.

Is it unlimited mileage?

Most of our vehicles(except the Luxury SUV's and Luxury Sedans) are unlimited kilometers as long as you stay within the province of BC. If you would like to travel out of province, their is a out of province fee of $30.00/day. This fee applies through out the rental period. - For Luxury SUV's including the Range Rover P530 (SWB and LWB), Cadillac Escalade you have 125 KM/Day, 875 KM/Week, 1500 KM/Month included. Extra KM is $3.00/KM - For Luxury SUV's including the Mercedes Benz G63 AMG and Range Rover Sport you have 100 KM/Day, 700KM/Week, 1500KM/Month included. Extra KM is $2.50/KM - For Luxury SUV's including the Land Rover Discovery and BMW X5 you have 150 KM/Day, 900KM/Week, 2000KM/Month included. Extra KM is $2/KM - For Luxury Sedans including the Audi A5 Sportback you have 150 KM/Day, 900KM/Week, 2000KM/Month included. Extra KM is $2/KM - For Luxury Sedans including the BMW 7 Series you have 100 KM/Day, 700KM/Week, 1500KM/Month included. Extra KM is $2.50/KM

What is the deposit for Luxury Cars?

The deposit for Luxury SUV's ranges from $2,500 to $15,000.  

Can I pick up a car at one location and drop it off at another?

Yes you can. The one way fee is $15.

How long will my reservation be held?

We will hold it for 30 minutes maximum. If you believe you are going to miss your reservation time please give adequate notice. A missed reservation could lead to your reservation being canceled.

Is There a Deposit?

Yes, a deposit will be held as a Pre-Authorization on the renters credit card. The minimum deposit amount is $500.00.

Can I Drive the Rental Car Out of the Province or to the United States?

Yes, you can drive the car out of BC and across the border to the United States with the written approval from our office. There will be an additional fee of $20/per day applied to the entire duration of the rental, when this service is used.

Can I Rent A Car For Road Test (Driving test)?

How Can I Rent a Car Without a Credit Card?

Can I Use a Cash Deposit or a Debit Deposit Instead of a Credit Card?

To get approval for not using a full credit card, please call our office 778-385-5551 or 1888-689-1231. *Restrictions apply.

Can I Use a Third Party Credit Card?

Yes, you can use a third party credit card, as long as it has a functional chip and PIN. There will be an additional $20/day fee to use a third party credit card. *Restrictions apply.

Is There Any Age Requirement to Rent a Car?

Yes, the person renting the car must be 18 years, or older and must possess a valid, government-issued, authentic Driver’s Licence. 'Under Age Fee' may be applied to your rental if you are between the ages of 18 and 24. .

What Credit Cards does Rent a Car Vancouver accept?

We accept all VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover UnionPay and JCB  cards. .

Can I use a credit card that belongs to someone else, with consent?

Yes, the person to whom the card belongs should come at the time of Rental pick-up, with a valid Photo ID for verification. *Restrictions apply.

Is it possible to extend the car rental period without bringing the car back first?

Yes, you can extend your rental period by calling our Customer Support Agents to notify us that you wish to extend: 778-385-5551 or 1-888-689-1231.

Can the rented vehicle be returned after Office Hours?

For our customers’ convenience, we do have an Overnight Drop-box. Please notify us at the time of rental that you wish to use the Overnight Drop-off procedure. Please note that you are wholly responsible for any damages done to the vehicle until it is checked in by our staff.

Can additional drivers use the rental vehicle?

If requested, we can add Additional Drivers to your rental contract, as long as they have a valid driver’s licence.  Ask your Car Rental Agent for more information.

'Additional Driver Fee' may be applied to your rental.

Can we take a car on rent on hourly basis?

Hourly rental service is not provided by Rent a Car Vancouver. The car or any vehicle can be taken on rent for at least a single day & in that case, it should be returned within the 24 hour limit of time.

Can one way rentals be provided?

One way rental facility is not provided by our company.

Can Child safety seats or GPS service be provided by the company?

Yes. For any such accessories, please ask your Rental Agent at the time of making your reservation, as availability is a factor.

Is smoking restricted inside the vehicle?

Our vehicles are completely Smoke-Free. A customer who violates this rule is likely to be levied with a fine for any such offence.
