To reserve a vehicle online, a major credit card is required to secure the reservation. However, a debit card, prepaid card, or cash may be used to pay the rental charges at the time of pick up.
To begin the process of reserving a rental vehicle from one of our Downtown Vancouver locations, or our Richmond / Vancouver Airport Off-site location, please fill out our easy online booking form. Our rental fleet consists of many different types of vehicles, from economical sedans to luxury vehicles, so make that sure you reserve the right vehicle for you, which will meet your size and budgetary needs.
We require that all of our car rental customers and additional drivers are above the age of 18, however, we do rent to drivers with an N class license, and for taking the Class 7 road test.
All renters must carry insurance for their rental vehicles, either by using their own auto insurance coverage, or by paying an added insurance fee along with their rental – this is not included in the base rental cost, as many customers have their own auto insurance. Renters who wish to use their own auto insurance must provide valid documentation of their insurance coverage prior to rental.
Please note: if a reservation was cancelled at last minute or is considered a no-show, you will be charged $34 CAD before taxes.
With other car rental companies, you are required to present a credit card to rent a car, as a security precaution, however at West Coast Car Rentals, we will also accept debit deposits and cash deposits in lieu of a credit card.
Our Downtown Vancouver office may accept alternate forms of payment, such as debit cards, pre-paid cards, or cash to secure the rental transaction. Reserving a vehicle without using a major credit card must be done either by phone, or in person.
